Halim Perdanakusuma AFB (HLM)
Halim Perdanakusuma is the main Air Force Base that oversees VIP/VVIP and Heavy Lift Air Squadrons. This Air Base carry out duties and operations in serving the activities of the President or Vice President, as well as serving VIP or VVIP activities to the destination cities.The Heavy Lift Air Squadron carry out duties and operations in providing operational support for every Squadron at Air Force Bases throughout of Indonesia.
Adi Soemarmo AFB (SMO)
Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base is the main gate in preparing the best soldiers for Indonesian Air Force Pilots. This Air Force Base is tasked with carrying out air operations education and training, as well as providing education and vocational formation training for Pilots who will be assigned to each air squadron.
Abdulrachman Saleh AFB (ABD)
Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base has a training fighter squadron tasked with light combat missions and patrolling short-range Indonesian airspace. This Air Base is also used as a transit base for Heavy Lift transport aircraft flying from western region of Indonesia to the eastern region.
Sultan Hasannudin AFB (HND)
Sultan Hasannudin Air Force Base is an air base tasked with securing airspace of eastern Indonesia. This air base has a tactical fighter squadron assigned to heavy combat and intercepting foreign planes that entered Indonesian airspace without permission, especially eastern Indonesian airspace.
Roesmin Nurjaddin AFB (RSN)
Roesmin Nurjaddin Air Force Base is the spearhead of the Air Force’s strength, especially in the western region of Indonesia. According to it’s duties, this air base carry out tactical air operations as well as strategic and limited air operations. Air Squadron on duty at this Air Force Base is also tasked with carrying out security of areas and small island that directly border neighboring countries.
